She’s expected to do a little more than say “this is highly disturbing” every time trump and his goons break the law in public. The bar is supposed to be a little higher than “do nothing to oppose him”, which is essentially what she’s doing, not to mention the way she’s tried to kneecap the progressive members of her party who are actually trying to do stuff to help the public. Remember when she piled on representative Omar while she was getting death threats?
I just gave you an example of someone worse. That's all. :hubie:

the black cat is my crown...
i partially agree with pelosi, democrats should not go for impeachment yet... however, i don't know about saying he probably won't leave the wh if he loses reelection... if pelosi thinks that then the situation is more dire and she probably should be looking at impeachment... with that said, i think trump promptly gets the fukk out of the wh if he loses in 2020...

OP is quoting the wrong line from the article. Pelosi isn't actually afraid of Trump staying in office, it's just the bullshyt scare tactic she's trotting out to try to keep people from supporting non-establishment candidates. With the mind-blowing lack of awareness that Dems blinding supporting the establishment candidate is exactly how Trump got elected in the first place.

Eh, part of this is a result of younger voters who are further to the left not participating in elections.

But there's also the fact that the country as a whole is pretty moderate and not that far to the left.

That said, none of that should have any bearing on whether or not to consider impeachment.

Here is the big problem that the Susan Sarandons of the world missed when they were busy saying voting for Trump was better because it would lead to a massive leftist wave that would sweep in and give us universal healthcare, higher taxes for the wealthy and a leftist utopia.

Even if Bernie Sanders comes into power, with a hostile senate, it will be EXTREMELY difficult to do much besides maybe pull the country to the centre, (at best centre left) , that's how much Trump has pulled the USA to the right in 2-3 years.

Pelosi needs to fulfill the mandate she was given by the people. They wanted her to go after Trump and she has been hemming and hawing. The slicker she tries to be the more disillusioned the people become, especially young people.

Trump knows he is going to get indicted shortly after he leaves office by the SDofNY or New York State.

To him, its imperative that he wins re-election so I can really see him doing that regardless if he loses big or small.

And watch the republicans be complicit in the fukkery if Trump loses and refuses to leave.

These last three years, I have really lost faith in this political system. They really have no idea how dangerous Trump is to the system especially these Republicans.

He is exactly who the founders were fearful of when they thought up and wrote the constitution.

Wouldnt surprise me if there are new laws and or amendments made after and in response to this presidency to re enforce the system.

:patrice: I dunno breh, this electoral college system still favors him, all he has to do is win Wisconsin, Ohio, North Carolina and Florida and he could lose Michigan and Pennsylvania and he could still win the presidency with 270-272 electoral votes.

Its very realistic that he could win Wisconsin, Ohio, North Carolina and Florida again.

Popular vote dont mean shyt :mjcry: and four more years of this twitter fingerz clown:mjcry:

Pelosi needs to stop talking.

Ms. Pelosi laughed when asked how her father, Thomas D’Alesandro Jr., a Democratic mayor of Baltimore and a former congressman known for his political toughness, would have interacted with Mr. Trump.

“Well, it would be like they were speaking foreign languages,” she said. “I don’t think my father could have ever conceived of a president who would ignore his oath of office to the extent this president does.”

Did he ever conceive of us having a congress that was half p*ssy half complicit?
