He had a chance to make big money with MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Kofi and never capitalized on the momentum. He really would rather not have a successful high profile black wrestler even if he's missing out on getting money from the black fanbase who contributes a lot to his product.

Big money is debatable. IMO, Big money is reserved for world title guys.

Could they have done more then they did? i think so.

however......Shelton was a tremendous talent but I liked him way more as a tag wrestler with Haas. He wasn't a world title guy. Well actually, I shouldnt say that. He had the physical skill but he would've needed a mouthpiece for sure.

Neither was KofI. But yes they could've made more money than they did.

Problem is, none of those guys were financially worth taking the belt off Cena

Not true. Have seen a few people come back and get pushed right back into the title scene. Considering that Naomi was not out for a long period of time. She could have easily got a Divas reign shortly after WM 30.

Jumping into the convo, it would've been so easy for them to give her the title reign she worked so damn hard for & everyone would've been here for it but they never intended to give it to her in the first place, they always have someone there to get it the day after Naomi upstages the person she loses to.

Naomi is one of the few that actually gets a pop from the crowd on a regular basis so this notion of "she doesn't get crowd reactions" is ridiculous & unfounded. Her crowd reactions are more consistent than.... anyway everyone is asking for Naomi merch & a title run. Black white yellow pink green EVERYONE. People are starting to speak out more on how unfair things are, we all see it & people I never thought would say something are.

She has a big fanbase & is incredibly likeable. When her storylines start getting more interesting than everything else going on in the divas division & her crowd reactions get a little too loud for comfort they nix it immediately, they've done it twice in less than a few months. They know. That's always the go to comment when people ask for Naomi merch, "black wrestlers aren't marketable" I guess all that Alicia Fox merch that doesn't exist didn't sell.

WWE Trademarked Slayomi at the end of last year so I want to see if they are just going to hold onto it & do nothing, or surprise me & do something with it. (Didn't realize this post was this long sorry.)

I read Slayomi has been copyrighted or someshyt which I'm assuming means new gear.

best(worst) thing about that forum is when someone hates on someone the person who capes for them almost always has them as their avi/sig. you never seem to just have fans there, just stans and creeps.

on topic tho Naomi is the shyt and if anything this hoe ass feud with her husband and the Factoids needs to spark a Naomi vs Nattie beef that could spark some dope matches and get her respect up

I was just watching WM 18 the other night and Jazz won the Divas title match against Trish Stratus and Lita. Jazz is the least attractive black Diva ever, and she beat the two golden girls at that time on the biggest stage. Not to mention I'm pretty sure Ms Jackie won the Divas title during the Sable era.

That was a totally different era. that was before they were "divas". They actually had real women wrestlers like Jacqueline Moore and Ivory and Victoria back then.

They've just turned into a conservative organization since they killed Ted Turner off.

Naomi always gets big pops. The fans love her. I don't know what you're talking about, especially since she got rid of Cameron.

Also, crowd reactions can be manipulated by who the WWE chooses to showcase and push, except when the fans hate someone sooo much like they do
Cena or something like that.

But if they're pushed like a "winner" who fans can get behind and commentary won't bury, they usually do okay.

those of you who consistently support this product have no right to complain. its not like they have a consistenly good product.

1. she was injured, and we know how WWE is when it comes to ppl being injured. They basically make you start from scratch. But if you recall she was in the title picture before that.

2. Sure there's a racial element to it, but to be honest, I don't think Naomi really connects w/ the audience like that as a FACE. Maybe if she was a heel she could win the title. Jazz was a heel and Jackie was too. But no black female really gets cheered like that by the live audiences.

It's not fair, but it is what it is. There's no Diva right now that can really draw money(however little money women wrestlers draw). AJ Lee was the only one who did, so that's why she held the belt for so long. The Bellas have some level of fame, and they move t-shirts so they get the strap right now.

I think she deserves the belt by now, at least for a brief run especially since she's known on Total Divas....

I'm convinced the powers that be are telling her to use that because she has other finishers, she as this top rope somersault finisher and a submission finisher. She has several that are impressive.
