I really hate the fact that the WWE will imply this stuff, but won't follow through with anything.
Naomi is out there pointing to the fact that racism is the reason she has received less opportunities, so if she doesn't win the belt now....all of this is really no better than the Booker-T/Triple H shyt. Maybe less blatant racism being directed at her, but even that's arguable now, given that it's clear what "get over it" is meant to dog whistle....
She'll probably get her ass beat, and the WWE will drop the storyline. Tone deaf.
Anyways...specifically on this segment...lol at Nikki coming in and smacking Paige. There truly are no heels or faces amongst Divas. I guess since people have forgotten about their magazine cover, the Bella Twins can go back to being villainous. A matter of fact, her coming out didn't even make sense if she was just gonna give Paige a beating....
Naomi's theme is starting to grow on me....
WWE doesn't work like that though. Her fathers promotion doesn't even exist, and NXT is just kinda viewed as the minor-league. In-Universe, Paige has been given shyt on a silver platter. Of course she's a hard-worker in real life, most of them likely are.
Of course, they could "shoot" those aspects of her life into the storyline, but right now, it seems like Paige is (in character) arguing "Yeah, I've had opportunities, and I took them, unlike y'all!"

Except Nikki got booed for attacking Paige and that didn't happen on Monday when Paige put her ass down. Crowd popped harder for Naomi during the intros on Raw too over Nikki. Her new fitness body makeover that won her fans on this board and elsewhere is starting to wear thin it seems when it comes to comparable and more talented women.

You just proved Naomi's point. Working for a parent is not the same as working for a stranger.
Paige being in NXT is like Naomi being in FCW. NXT was Paige's WWE "training course" until she became of age and worked into a main roster storyline. And once Paige got called up, she got a title reign shot. Whereas Naomi was saddled with shyt gimmicks, unnecessary character changes, unexplained dropped storyline, and derailed pushes for YEARS.
New Day was supposed to have promos like this but WWE thought it would be too threatening so they gave it to one of the Divas. I'm not even surprised but I'm glad Naomi is doing well with it.Not gonna watch. They give these type of promos to women when new day exists?
Honestly this promo seems very poorly timed. It would have been better had she done this before she got her title shot with Nikki. They both look like hypocrites in this Paige embracing herself as a "Diva", after years of being called and calling herself the Anti-diva and Naomi for her speech about earning and taking.
