Wow so these rappers have undercover cops in the security team.
Also to add on to what Napoleon is saying a huge part of the LA Rampart scandal, and I only looked this up cause of Training Day, was that Death Row was hiring a bunch of off duty police officers as security. I think one of the biggest reasons why Pac and Bigs death will go unsolved is because so many cops were involved in their deaths. That would open up so many departments to so many lawsuits.

The Rampart Corruption Task Force investigators discovered that hip hop mogul Suge Knight, owner of Death Row Records, had hired several of the corrupt Rampart officers for security at various times including Nino Durden, Kevin Gaines, David Mack, and Rafael Pérez. Knight was hiring off-duty Rampart policemen to work for Death Row as security guards for substantial amounts of money. After Gaines was killed, investigators discovered Gaines drove a Mercedes-Benz and wore designer suits, and they found a receipt in his apartment for a $952 restaurant tab at the Los Angeles hangout, Monty's Steakhouse.[7]

You can have both the Rampart Scandal and cops working for Death Row and not have cops involved in anyway with Tupac’s murder.
Not everything has to blend together.
I read Russell Poole’s book LAbrynth literally the day it came out. At the book store. Bought it. He introduced the world to that conspiracy. Before that the conspiracy was that Suge killed him or that he was still alive. Pool connected Rampart to those murders and made those connections. I believed it. Until Greg Kaeding proved him wrong. Period.
Tupac died over gang politics he didn’t understand and had no business in. Baby Lane was one of the most feared South Side Crips who supposedly had crazy bodies on him. It was so known that he did it that Kurt Loeder reported it the day after the shooting on MTVNews.
Poochie shot Biggie in retaliation. Were cops involved? Maybe. But Poochie was the shooter.
They died the same way nikkas die everyday. Over pointless shyt. Look what just happened recently to 1/3 of the Migos.
And all rappers used to move around with 1 bodyguard and a bunch of hanger ons in the 90s. Now they have entire security teams.

What made you believe one book over the other? 2pacs death is really fascinating because so many factors were at play. What he did that night would've thrown a wrench in anyone's plan to assassinate him

Man Keefe D is going through what he’s going though because this fool is sitting up here going on youtube channels talking about stuff he had an arrangement with the LAPD not to talk about. His deal was similar to what they gave ol boy on the Shield for those who watched that show. As long as he told what he knew they could not use it against him, but what happened in that room had to stay in that room. If any new evidence was produced outside of the snitching by anyone else OR HIMSELF they could come back and get him. He’s a fool straight up and straight down.
