When it comes to Sri Vishnu's avatars, Krishna and Rama take the prize of most devotees, but for me, there is just something about Lord Narasimha. There has been ever since I first peeked at Vaishnavism over a year ago. There is just somethnig about his presence...

Worship of Narasimha is still common. Narasimha Jayanthi which celebrates Lord Vishnu's 4th incarnation is one of the most important Vaiśnava festivals. Personally as far as fierce forms go Mother Kali does it for me.
