he's become pretty popular in Hip Hop circles in the last few years. i think it started to get bigger when he did a couple of interviews with Currensy but he's been doing it for 15-20 years. interviewed everyone from Nirvana to Henry Rollins to Snoop & Jay. a lot of rappers didn't get the shtick to begin with but i think he's fairly well known now mainly thanks to Snoop, Currensy, Pharell & Questlove.
