I just beat Brothers: Tale of Two Sons and I think I'm ready to say video games can be as important and impacful as any book.

I felt the same way with The Walking Dead: Season 1.
The same with Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.

All three have great art, beautiful environments and simplistic game play. I thought they all were fun, but, too "easy," until I played longer and began to get them.

All three were just trying to tell a story and grip you, emotionally.

Brehs, I need some suggestions for more games, like these.

All three of the above are 5/5. Really, TWD is a 6/5.

I'll watch a review. I heard it was wack.

It's one of my favorite games of last gen. Didn't get the promo it should have gotten and like dude said, it got looked over because it wasn't your normal gameplay type game. It's similar to the style of The Walking Dead games but it's better than those IMO.

I like narrative driven games that the player has control over the direction and the outcome of the story.

I dislike narrative driven games that dictate the story to you. Might as well watch a movie for that:camby:

Probably the best looking game of last gen too - at least it is in my opinion.

But there are parts of that game that just wouldn't hit right if you weren't invested. A movie would've been straight, but I like these self-directed productions.
