I'm on the second watch of Naruto RN. My seeds put me onto it. I have it in top5 shows of all time

Atlanta
Sopranos
The Wire
Naruto
Regular Show

Naruto is deep AF. Characters/themes are unreal. You could basically learn damn near everything you need to know in life from shippuden. Relatable 2.

I've never watched Borruto and the ending of shippuden was a let down tho NGL

We watched a few seasons of 1 piece and its cool. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. But its easy goofy watching really. Can't compare tbh

I prefer Naruto, but One Piece isn’t bad. I like both. Sometimes the filler in Naruto can be annoying.

Also, like Full Metal Alchemist and Titan, all of that crying, whining and emotional bullshyt can be irritating in Naruto.

The actual animation and artwork in Naruto isn’t the best neither. The shyt looks horribly sloppy at times.

never got into one piece, it’s very long and from the fights i’ve seen it never made me super hype

naruto is my shyt tho!!!! tied with dragon ball for me. Naruto vs Pain is PEAK :ohlawd:

yea that shyt was the pinnacle right there. That whole fight leading up to it and when pain ices hinata :damn:

Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad should both be on that list.

Top5s are subjective.

Respectfully, no. Game of thrones fall off was probably the worst of any series.

Breaking bad was really good; but TBH it didn't impact me like that. I connected with 0 characters.

Naruto is what got me into anime. But it stopped being great when Shippudden started. Most of the stuff after that was kind of boring. And most of the characters are useless lol

One Piece is better overall

what!? shippuden IS Naruto :dahell:

I was reading the manga when they were still releasing new chapters and it felt like everything dragged out for a long time. There were some cool moments like Sasuke Vs Deidara and Naruto Vs Pain, but for the most part everything just felt kind of dry and overly serious to me. There was a lot of action, but no reason to care about what was happening

The author did a better job of balancing light hearted moments with serious and dark stuff before Shippuden started. Watching Naruto cry about how much he missed Sasuke and how they were like brothers got cringey after a while. Even Sasuke was wondering why Naruto was so obsessed with bringing him back to the village.

I didn't know they had books I thought it was the show we were talking about; can't comment on that.

that was essential for the whole character / coming of age development. Sasuke represented Team Kakashi. That was the first time in life Naruto felt apart of something and not a total outcast. That means EVERYTHING to someone who was an outcasted orphan. Naruto didn't wanna let that go. It gave him purpose and motivation to get stronger and stronger.

Naruto was only good from chuunin exams to Sasuke retrieval arc.

Then they turned the perfect main villain (Orochimaru) into a jobber and made the akatsuki the main focus of the show until the very end… when they start fighting zombies and aliens. :martin:

Gotta give it to One Piece even tho the ending to Wano was shyt

I watched the show too, but that was dragged out even more haha.

I get that Naruto didn’t want to lose the “family” that he’d found with Team 7, but it just felt like they overdid it with how much he wanted to save Sasuke.
