Does One Piece even have characters like this? Don’t get me started on the God Itachi. Naruto regardless of his plot armor at still taps into your emotions

Somebody post some clips or give me a story from One Piece to get me started or is it all just goof troop levels of dragon fruit and pirates

I don't want to spoil, but I will say you learn fairly soon about why Nami is a thief, and it's some sad shyt. Luffy never takes off his hat, so this moment has emotional weight.

One piece is better animated, better written, has better powers, better fights and side characters arent made useless like everybody not named naruto & sasuke. I could post hours of videos of side characters putting in work through out the series.

And the one piece pirate warriors games > them lame ass fresh off the assembly line ass arena fighters

Also, Fist Of The North Star > Naruto

For anyone that’s new to One Piece…
Either start with Episode of East Blue or watch/read until this guy comes through…

If you still aren’t feeling the series by the time they finish dealing with this dude, then One Piece is probably not for you.

Also, the manga >>>> the anime. The pacing is better, plus you get a lot more worldbuilding since the cover pages often show you the adventures of various side characters and former villains. A lot of these characters end up either coming back into the main storyline or setting up major plot points years down the line.

Several major story arcs are foreshadowed literal years in advance (Click the link for SPOILERS).
Imagine if Kid Goku had discovered the blueprints for Androids 16/17/18 and Cell back in the Red Ribbon army arc… years and years before any of those characters were formally introduced in the story proper. That’s the kind of stuff One Piece pulls off on the regular.

Word to Dr. Vegapunk :wow:

You shouldn’t need 1,000+ episodes to get a point across. And from what I know due to research no major characters die so there’s no tension.

:ohhh: You didn’t feel anything when…

Ace and Whitebeard died? :to:

I'm like nearly 200 Eps into One Piece and I can honestly say at no point has it ever gripped me to the point I was binging it or I felt like I NEEDED to see the next Episode.
Like it's cool to watch and all but I just never got that IT factor watching it ever :yeshrug:
