I see someone mentioned bleach in here, I swear to you guys one summer while I was college I sat down and binge watched bleach in its entirety in complete amazement..I watched the entire 300+ episodes in like 3 weeks..that shyt was FIRE…but I have watched every episode of one piece up until katakuri and luffy fight…I really need to finish watching it and catch up..nothing has ever held my attention as long as one piece has besides the video game Warframe

I mean he ain't lying. OG dragon ball is better than a lot of animes that have started jumping within the past 15 years.

Shiit the 90s-'00s had most of the best. Cowboy bebop, trigun, lupin the third, ghost in the shell, Fullmetal alchemist , Inuyasha when the "romance" was absent, detective Conan, etc

I see more people dip out early on a lot of the more recent popular animes

Every time someone brings those two up, i feel like i should rewatch. Both, at some point around the mid 100sumn episodes, became dull and uninteresting. I think around that time i starting gaming way more, but even then there was a few other animes i had no problem finding time to watch

Remember I binged OG Dragonball to DBZ summer 2011 and that was one of the greatest media events in my life

Naruto peaked early, and is a horrible main character. One Piece has the better world, characters, writing, and powers. But for real big hot take. One Piece has the best roster of main characters in the shonen genre.

Idk why people keeping shytting on DB and DBZ like it didn’t birth most of these animes we see today.
