I think most people liked what Naruto Storm 1 brought in terms of free roam, but I thought Storm 2's was also pretty good.
I mean, the free roam boiled down to collecting little scrolls on the same map over and over. It was nice to move around but if there isn't really any point to it then Im fine with them cutting it out and going to the traditional fighting game route. Its just a shame because the Naruto storylines are very good.
The very 1st battle is the Madara Kyuubi Konoha invasion(where he fights the 1st), then it skips to where Naruto is fighting White Masked Tobi(with the rinnegan and sharingan). There is 2 paths to choose from after Madara Kyuubi invasion, the 2nd part is where Sasuke revives Orochimaru and he summons the Hokages to find out the truth.
Sounds like it just continues where the Great Ninja War ended at in NS3 @Kamikaze Revy

I feel the same, this arc was also cluttered with so many powerups.
They tried to introduce too many things into one arc with a fairly clear deadline. They should've tried to introduce more elements into the Danzo arc or at least got an extension on that deadline.
