I was thinking, maybe instead a scroll to bring the 1st back, it's a scroll to revive the Sage of the Six Paths..

Hard to say who Sasuke was talking about, could be Oro, Madara, Tobi, etc., but it would be a trip it it was the Sage of the Six Paths himself[/white]. After all, who else would know more about the ninja world than him?
I'm thinking maybe Oro figured out a way to summon/revive him and Sasuke wants to go see Oro so he can make him do it.
That's an interesting theory...It makes some sense, though I feel like if Madara could break a jutsu like Edo Tensei than no scroll is gonna keep Sasuke in control of the sage. So the "we could rule the ninja world" proclamation wouldn't fit.
What i want to know is how did the 4th create that Death God jutsu? Thats not something you can practice until you get it right.

Damn, looking back at that, the foreshadowing with "there must be some weakness to it" is dope now that Itachi and Madara both broke the seals...especially Madara.
On a side note, have they ever explained why the hell the second hokage invented the impure resurrection at all?
Not really but he was the shadiest hokage of them all. He was into some real suspicious shyt to even come up with a forbidden technique like that.

I cosign. This is definitely not what I expected from this ninja war. The story has been flawed for a while and it keeps getting worse. Nonsenical sh!t keeps happening and they just justify it as it being a 'forbidden jutsu'.
