Btw, the clone/edo tensi concept would mean Tobi has unlimited chakra which would explain his ability to spam his sharingan while using the rinnegan earlier without exhaustion.

even though we dont know how kakashi managed to get magenkyou and it's highly unlikely that he killed his best friend so it could be possible ( he aint even an uchiha so he might have needed the extra power of the mangenkyou to use kamui while obito didn't)

Just an alternate dimension jutsu instead of him actually being intangible. For instance, think of spirits being see-thru in the physical world although they exist in the spiritual realm. Tobi slips in between both worlds. When he's in one you can see him in the other, that creates the illusion of him actually being intangible.
