Yeah, that's the problem with I have with the filler arc, I thought they're doing the opposite but they still have Sasuke as a emo and his father is still a d!ck to Sasuke.
It's cool to see The Mask is Neji's father (Hizashi) instead of Obito aka Tobi. It's cool to see Naruto's Father and his mother are still alive and his father Minatio still active as the 4th Hokage. The only problem I have is Sasuke's part.
Decided to binge watch this current filler, the jiraiya tales, and you're right this is pretty good. The teenage Naruto with sage mode vs Sasuke with curse mark next week might be piff and better than the pre-shippuden fight.
