if anything dudes like us that favor Jiraiya are in the minority. Itachi has legions of fans and almost always top 3 fav character in the entire manga. The dikkriding across the internet is disgustin'. As dude said, the weasel said himself that a fight against Jiraiya would be a stalemate at best. Weasel stans still mad they can't refute this. He had time to beat up on little Sauce but when the Ero Toad Gawd appeared them cats turned into Usain Bolt. Even Guy of all people stood up to Itachi

Sasuke vs. Itachi is a null battle because he wasn't trying to kill Sasuke. He was trying to make him stronger for the things that were to come.

1st Hokage just reiterated that last week.

He wasn't fighting Sas seriously he used perfect Susanoo to draw out Oro and teach him how to use the mangekyo on the fly through battle. Just like Kikashi and Kabuto, Itachi wasn't fighting to kill if he were they would have been dead. I think we are reading way to much into a statement Itachi made to keep his cover and avoid unnecessary fight with an allie. Itachi basically was on par or a better tactician than Shika and Kakashi, master in many jutsus, given praise by the goat 1st Hokage, Danzou, the 3rd, Obito, Kisame, etc, the ultimate cheat code with that sword and perfect Susanoo, mangekyo, etc........... he's a top 5 shinobi. Naruto, Nagato, and the 4th all surpassed J-Man he's the goat teacher.

Don't forget that Oro said that Itachi was stronger than him. But with that said, I see nigg@s still on this Jiraiya vs Itachi y'all also need to keep in mind that the stronger person doesn't necessarily mean the victor in battle in the Naruto universe - (well as of late, perhaps in Shippuden). I'm sure Jiraiya had some jutsu to counter and possibly subdue Itachi, and vice versa. Even though Itachi was not trying to kill Sauske, Sauske still have to fight against ITachi's MS.

Now we downgrading his fight against Pain when at that point NOBODY lived to fight Pain and figure out his secret. Add another person to the list that disregards what is in the manga. Pain made a simple statement but ya'll want to twist it into something else. Jman resume speaks for itself, keep hatin' though.

itachi is god tier character in naruto..keep in mind he never attained eternal magekeou sharringan and dude was half blind fighting these nikkas

EMS is the biggest cheatcode in damn near any manga breh. Then on top of that he gives Itachi two god-like weapons. gtfoh

I pretty much agree wit all this. For me it's not underrating Itachi...its the legions of his stans saying Jman wouldn't stand a chance against him. I know Itachi was basically THEE prototype of what a genius ninja is. He even planned ahead for Edo Tensei and styled on'em. In a way, he was anti-Uchiha.

He's still a notch below Jiraiya IMO just off the fact Jman fathered 3 of top tier ninja in the manga.

THANK YOU, Jiraiya was like 50+ years old when he was introduced yet he was still feared and BODYING nikkas out there, Took on 3 Pains at the SAME DAMN TIME with sage mode and rasengan, agaisnt the fukkING RINNEGAN, C'MON, you think if he didnt know about all 6, he wouldnt have swiss cheesed Nagato there..

You stans make me laugh, no one is disregarding Itachis skill, but to throw the LEGENDARY Sannin to the bushes like that is an abomination, we gonna act like he wasn't Kage class while Flabby-N-Sick yet Kisame and Itachi aint want to take him on...
