Sasuke seems out of character. Even when he was on the good side he wasnt like that.

I do wonder if him being there is an illusion by his behavior.

Or kishi could be just rushing Sasuke part of the story to finish up the manga.

In a way I could see Sasuke trying to become hokage in a fashion of Danzo where he was disliked by most but still was made hokage.

Only reason Danzo got in was...

1. Current Hokage was
2. Despite being a dikk, he was a respected elder who had loyally served Konoha for years
3. There were really no other good candidates at the time
4. He used Shisui's eye to brainwash the Daimyo into nominating him


How would that work for Sasuke?

1. There are already multiple better candidates (Naruto and Kakashi)

2. Everybody in the village loves Naruto. Everybody in the village (besides Naruto and Sakura) hates Sasuke. In order to be hokage, the Jounin have to vote for you. Would the Jounins really vote for Sasuke over Naruto?

3. Would the Daimyo even nominate Sasuke? Even in Danzo's case, he wasn't an actual criminal. Sasuke has aided a terrorist organization, caused international incidents, and even attacked all of the current Kages (other than Tsunade). Wouldn't the other villages (especially Cloud) resent Sasuke being hokage?


And honestly, we've been reading for 600+ chapters anticipating how and when Naruto will become Hokage. Would Kishi really us like that and make Sasuke the Hokage at the last minute? That would be like Zoro becoming Pirate King instead of Luffy.

I really, really hope Kishi doesn't go that route.
