This was the start of the run
:wow:

Going on 30 Summers. 4 albums. 2 Arguable classics. Many cuts that are up there with his greatest tracks ever.

Acclaim he hadn't seen since 2003. Countless standout features. A world tour. A fresh perspective on art-making alongside a budding legend in Hit-Boy.

He has not taken an L since 2020 (since I know haters will talk down on the Jarreau of Rap :mjpls: ).

He's on fire

And it's looking like it's just getting started

:ahh:

Appreciate the flowers

This has been such a great era for Nas. It really does feel like he's in his second prime right now.

Kanye had him trapped in the back of cars writing rhymes to beats that didn't even make the album. Treating him like some kidnapping victim. :scust:

I still think Lost Tapes II was a dope project, but it looks like everybody else disagreed. Some of those songs would be standouts on an actual album.

King's Disease shut everything down and was one of the best things about 2020. That album ended up being the start of a run that destroyed narratives, restored faith, and proved that you don't have to lose your edge as an older rapper. Plus, a guy who didn't exactly have the best track record with Nas created the backdrop for all of it. We all got to be part of something beautiful over the last couple years. :mjcry:

Neck ties and boxing gloves.
Dirty ass, white worshipping c00n fakkit really got to do an album with the GOAT and dropped the ball like a mothafukka. Nasir bounced back like round ball tho. Been dropping nothing but greatness since :obama:

That line always makes me cringe.

Agree with everything else.

Lost Tapes II is better than Nasir IMO. Songs like "Lost Freestyle" were welcome after the Nasir debacle. Still, the Nasir album gave us "Adam & Eve".

It was poetic that Nas made FOUR albums that were not only acclaimed, but got him his first Grammy with the producer who was once signed to Kanye in Hit Boy. Not only that, but Kanye fell out with dude all because he didn't tell him he had a joint on Beyonce's self titled album.
