Nobody is celebratin anythin ... Nas and Kdot had the most talked about albums of 2012.
Mtv puttin Nas on that list is a Testament to how much Life Is Good and Nas features were an impact.
We dont take the listin as validation .... we knew this already. Its actually a validation on their[mtv] part for their list...

2nd.
Its not a claim that Nas has multiple classics...this is a fact and a view shared by his Peers/ Hiphop fans and Critics.
I can take Metacritic for example and highlight 3 universally acclaimed albums by Nas that are not Illmatic /It was written.
If multiple means 2 or more...then its not a claim.

3rd.
You make reference to how Nas was blessed to be active when Hiphop was at a peak in popularity, but turn a blind eye to how only the Top 3 + Meek have higher 1st week individual album sales for 2012 than Nas. And only 3 of them have greater sales. Can u name 10 hiphop artist who Individually outsold Nas in 2012?
If nas was 'at best' as u say in Hiphop sales golden era and he's a Top ten

Impact? No sir, none, Nas stans think the don had impact As far as features go, Triple Beam dreams & the carter iv verse are the only ones i can remember. Suit & Tie had more impact than all them Nas features put together & it was trash!

Nas has one album that was critically acclaimed to the point of classic besides illmatic & streets know only reason for that was Jay-z releasing a true classic at the time.

'If' has nothing to do with it. It's a fact, more of a fact than Nas having multiple classics that he was around during hiphops peak as a commercial music, during the peak of music sales period. top 10? Nas Mediocrity again, there goes that #4 again. We all know all the big dogs in the game had off years. Nas only W's coming from semantics And he's still only ''top 10'' You really bragging about top 10? Aint this you're GOAT? Top 10 is something to be proud of Damn straight i don't understand how the so called GOAT is never King, always the 4th,5th,6th in line to the throne. Nozz lost

It's not about getting an inch and taking a mile. It's just let Nas get a win. Now he made the list all these excuses come out. Oh it was a slow year. He not a super star. He not doing this. The point we are making here is that for a rapper near 40 fukking years old, who doesn't go out his way to make crappy songs to appear to these limited attention span having fans, that has been in the game 20 years and been through all the phases of modern rap and still making top notch music. How many so called hot rappers have come and gone in that time span
