Between these 2 producers, who has the better chemistry and beats for Nas to lay his vocals on?
Nas and Salaam Remi or Nas and Hit Boy?

nas and hit boy. it ain't even close. salaam remi is so mediocre, its not even funny.

I’d have to say Nas & Salaam for singles. Nas & Hit Boy for an entire ALBUM.
Salaam has given Nas some of his greatest individual songs. What Goes Around, Made You Look, I Can, Get Down, Bridging The Gap, Thiefs Theme, etc etc.
He also co-anchored Life Is Good, one of Nas’s later day classics.
But Hit Boy can give Nas a Salaam type sound. He can give Nas a Dr Dre type sound. He can give Nas a Kanye type sound. Hit Boy can do it all and thats proven to be IMMENSELY helpful to Nas in crafting an entire project.

Nas + Salaam had way higher highs than Nas + Hit Boy. That said, Nas and Hitboy give you a more consistent quality.

With one of them, in the last year and a half, he has a Grammy off the 1st album they did together and is one of the leading contenders to get another Grammy for the 2nd album they did together.

Trying not to be a prisoner of the moment, but I think Hit Boy edges Salaam with full projects. Salaam has better hits with Nas though.

You’re going to have to admit that the Kings Disease albums are classics if you’re going to pick Hit boy… With that being said I’m picking Remi.. They got too many classics together.

salaam remi produced most of
sub par album like streets disciple. he might have a few singles, but most of his shyt is not hot IMO compared to other producers nas has worked with.
