at the thought that this beat and subject matter somehow required Nas to spit an amazing verse. It's a decent verse to what was already a dope song. Nas has a plethora of these types of verses on remixes. His verses on remixes to Jagged Edge's "I Got It", Brandy's "What About Us", and Murder Inc's "The Pledge". None of those songs called for him to deliver a "Verbal Intercourse" or "In Between Us" caliber verse.What u one dimensional nas stans dnt get is that u can deliver "these types" of verses while maintaining decent lyricism which nas did not do here

Nas is able to rap over modern beats. Look no further than 2012 when he was droppin' crazy verses over modern production. Wayne's "Outro" and Ross's "Triple Beam Dreams" come to mind.
