At 45 nas should just give up on trying to settle down or get into any relationships

From carmen to kelis and fukking with nicki minaj earlier this year, he just have a bad case of picking women..

Glad he let his anger out on this fake conscious broad and let the world know his side...

Just focus on your business ventures nas and if u want ass don't get into a relationship, just find that quick fukk p*ssy and move on

Believe me, I been dealing with these type of sisters as well

I know some people take Prodigy's stories with a grain of salt, but I'm pretty sure he said one of his homies fukked Kelis while she was with Nas. I believe that was in his book.

So if people wanna focus on the Nas infidelity part, keep in mind that this could've easily been a two-way street thing.

All of that is horse shyt, though. Kelis is fukking around with the relationship between a father and his only son. Not to mention poisoning his mind. This is the very basis of the entire rant and that shyt is entirely wrong. There's no "but" here. She's 100% in the wrong here. It isn't even debatable.

So I don;t know much about this couple never paid too much attention to them.
Has Kelis always have a bad rap, were there red flags at the beginning and Nas just ignore, like most men do?

I'm wondering because a lot of dudes like the drama but like to lie and say they don't like drama. Simple life is always better, sad to see men get like this

Reminds me about that white comedian dude and his tirades against his wife. Forgot the dude name

nas told all of his business for people to judge the situation you pathetic dikkrider.

:damn:at nas being a battered husband who was forced to cut off his own brother. There’s no defending this fanboys. Nas made himself look like a sucker.

Musicians are supposed to express themselves thru music. Had nas put this in rhyme-form over dope beats nobody would be clowning him. He’s being clowned because he’s acting like some hood rat chic.

Seems like a dude tired of catching by all of Kelis media shenanigans. :manny: Musicians are people too and dudes do this shyt all the time too.

So you condone this? I think it's a bad look because it was clearly motivated by emotion and not logic/wisdom.

The embarrassing intentional and unintentional revelations aside, how does this help Nas in his situation? Y'all are empathizing with Nas because you share his emotional perspective but I'm looking at from a more logical/practical perspective. Ok Nas, everything you said in the rant is true, how does this help? From his own description of kelis, it doesn't sound like she's the type who would respond positively to being called out and put on blast like this.

Again, my question is how does this help Nas in his ultimate goal of coparenting and being a good father to his son? Will winning the media-pr war help him in the courtroom? Will it help with kelis? How does this help Nas besides maybe swaying some of the public to taking his side?

Might help from a logistical standpoint as the IG rant was in response to getting a phone call from Essence. They're probably researching before dropping an article that will feature a story from Kelis that won't make Nas look too good. In this climate of #metoo, and considering the way some in media shaded him after Nasir dropped, it probably made sense to him and his team to "get in front" of this story.

I think one problem with some men's response to allegations in this climate of guilty until proven innocent, is men aren't telling their side of things. Some of that may be for legal concerns, or dignity, who knows. But in this case be it fair or unfair, Nas got lumped in with that crowd and it definitely affected the response to Nasir and his image took a hit. He might be able to turn the tables a bit though by telling his side of the story instead of rolling over and playing dead. If the following opinion piece (lank and title below) on BET is an indication, him speaking out may have helped his case. He might of turned this from a case of "oh he's a guilty piece of sh!t", to, "there's always three sides to a story."
