I like what Evidence did. Weatherman was followed up with Cats & Dogs. He was like it's more of the same, but heavier, and I don't like sequels and numbering albums. So he came up with a clever way for it to basically be a sequel but didn't fall back to naming in Weatherman 2 or anything like that.

Illmatic may very well be the greatest hip hop album ever. If he made a "sequel" and it was only "very good" it would tarnish the name. Instead, make an album with the same raw feeling, those same type of break neck beats, then let the fans say "yo son, this shyt right here is on the level of Illmatic". You know how our culture works...if it indeed is as ill as the original, we will call it Illmatic 2 for him.

To be honest, i dont even consider that a sequel like OB4CL2 or MMLP2 with the same name...its a very dope album, but thats what i mean with changing the name up instead of calling it weatherman 2
