Told yall in the thread for the album he was gonna release the first vid like months later like with the Magic albums lol

This was probably always gonna be the first single because that beat as much as it polarizes people has got that old school b-boy/DJs spin it feel which is what they were going for. Heard a dude spin it the weekend the album dropped at a hip hop event and was like yep

yes it is really that simple. A break beat with elements of the same sample chopped on top of it. It's been Primo's style since Daily Operation. It's the same style that the album in your avatar(that I love BTW) copied with 9th's production.
quality matters, this album - spec the first half, just wasnt produced well....no one is a bigger nas stan than me brother

This song and this whole album isn’t really 90s tho…i said it in the album thread when it dropped, the shhit feels almost 100% inspired by 80s hip hop and the early days of it
Exactly. I feel alot of people didn't get it. They was looking for late 90s boom bap but this album is a throwback to early/mid 80s hip-hop. And they killed it
