Released 15 years ago it would be fine. Released after more than 30 years of nas/premo hype? That shyt was light.

i think like some have said in here, that shyt was a "street single". no way in hell it's the best song on the tape

Man, Nas doesn’t care about all that man, lol. He’s Nas, this whole campaign has been promo, anybody into “real” hip hop, whatever that means, is fully aware and has been waiting for Nas’s joint. Whoever else? Fukk em, lol. Man is 52 years old, and playing with 9-figures, he doesn’t need to convince and try to reach a new fan or sumn to buy his shhit.

All of this is true, every single word.


I’m just being selfish when I say I wish Nas & Preme would have went on a press run, not something super elaborate, but similar to the promo run he went on for KD1.

I like getting Nas’s insights into his art, the timing of it, what motivates him, etc.

But Nas has told us time and time again he hates doing interviews, he hates press, and he thinks modern day news and blogs are one big monkey circus.
