yall really was expecting full BOOM BAP beats for the whole album? for what? yall let Preemo know a lot of his sh*t is "dated" or "predictable", bro changes up the pattern a bit and all of a sudden yall in a frenzy I like this the more i hear it even though it's a snippet. I'm willing to bet mfs are gonna try to freestyle to this in the future on radio shows cuz the tempo is still around 95bpm to 100, perfect to spit on.

I don't know what it is but that seems to be the norm with most independent rappers today. You hear the album and there's other songs that could've been used as a single to create more excitement. Gibbs and Al did that for Alfredo 2. Roc Marci does that a lot. Conway just did it. Etc...

I haven't even played the snippet that's just a general observation.

This is a fair point. The other thing I'd say is that if this sounded like standard Premo certain people would say it's generic Premo. This sounds different, my ears are open to it. And apparently there's more to that beat according to a post a few pages ago.

I'm excited.

Hard to properly judge the track without hearing the full beat drop. But I remember when the LT2 was teased with the Lost freestyle. shyt was so hard. Still dumbfounded that they didn’t make that track an official single.
