I disagree , yes they have hated on him compared to jay and i agree pisses me off cuz its corny but JBP is an outliar...its one of the only shows that joe could take interview in diff directions and you wont get nothing but same questions. idk

I am serious fam, I mean......people have been expecting this album for damn near 20 years. This is the #1 album Nas fans wanted. You dont think people have super high expectations of this album? You're mistaken.
If it's not a certified instant classic then people will claim it's a disappointment
Its not about their personalities. Nas and Jay both have great interviews out there where they are engaged and present. Its that most people who interview these days suck at their jobs and go for the most low hanging fruit and gossip fodder when it comes to the questions they ask, or they can’t even PRETEND to be objective in their attitudes.
Sway is still pretty good. Others have mentioned Joe & Jada which would be cool for someone like Nas since they are all fellow artists. Him returning to Drink Champs could be fun since Nore and EFN are Nas stans so they wouldn’t want to go over the line asking dumb shyt and Nore probably wouldn’t talk over every answer Nas tried to give. Big Boy is still pretty good. I like Bootleg Kev. But thats about it as far as I can think of.

I think some people hated on these on the Coli, i can't find the full Michael Dyson interview but i feel like these type of set ups is where Nas shines a bit more as the bigger platforms he comes off like he don't want to be there.
He has rapped about that he hates doing interviews, the Drink Champs interview was forgettable too IMO.

It wasn't that great though tbh. It's a very generic sounding Premo beat with no bells and whistles. Very basic.
Personally, though I prefer Nas when he's rapping over soul beats and chops like on tracks like "Nothing lasts Forever", "Black Zombie" "Nas is Good" "Youre Da Man", and shyt like "Once a Man, Twice a Child"
When he's on his soulful/ conscious tip
But i wont be expecting that from Preme. The only soulful style beat he's ever done was Memory Lane

I have high expectations both of em are my goats easily but I just want good music. Joints like I Gave You Power Nas is Like NYSOM are like once in a lifetime type tracks. If you going in expecting that might as well not listen

Having expectations aint a bad thing. If y'all have no expectations then i suppose yall will like it if it's just a mediocre album?
It should be at least as good as KD 3 and Magic 1, if not better than those
