Royce lost all of his artistic aura to me when Lupe so easily and casually took his head off. Hell i’d rather hear a Nas/Lupe track.

This album is too important and too anticipated for an MC like Royce to have a feature. Do you really think Royce is gonna deliver some AZ Life's a bytch type verse

Keep Lupe away too. That corny dude pretty much acted like Magic 1 was mid and had the audacity to "coach" Nas on how his verse could've been better on "Nobody". Complete lack of respect. Even Royce had to call out Lupe's sudden Nas dislike on that diss track.
Not a big Royce fan, but the Preme connection makes sense. He's a lyricist/spitter so that's a good sign regarding the album's direction. This is definitely a step up (understatement) from having Lil Durk, Fivio and YG as features lol.

I rather have Royce than Fivio Foreign or YG on a Nas album. A royce feature on a Primo album makes sense
I definitely don't want any of that trash on the album either. I was a fan of Royce when he had energy in his delivery and flow like Boom, King of Kings, Shake This etc. His new shyt is so boring to me now.

No, he's corny because he just is (nothing to do with his opinion of Nas' music). That's been self-evident for years (not taking away from his skills as a lyricist). The same way you're here defending his right to opine, I'm giving mine.
And it was the disrespectful tone he expressed. His issue with Nas was clear enough that even Royce called it out. That is all.

The corny and disrespectful part was Lupe saying that Nas sounded like J.Cole on Speechless, which is not only categorically insane but just plain wrong. First off, J.Cole raps reminiscent of NAS, not the other way around and Nas flow on Speechless is nothing he hasn’t proven over THIRTY YEARS that he can’t do. THATS the disrespectful part.
Lupe was just sour that Nas won’t agree to do an EP with him. He’s been trying for years and Nas apparently ain’t with it.
Lupe, by his own admission, was just way out of line.
Dude TEXTED Nas that he wanted to do a concept album about Amy Winehouse and was salty that Nas left him on read
