I'm just scratching the surface, the next phase of Nasir
Phase four, the fourth dimension
The legacy's here, and other things I won't mention
I'm winning when I'm not even trending
Trailblazing, the message I'm sending
When you evolve into your true growth, they say you can't do both
Feed your soul and get money, I'm like two goats :wow:

So I'm guessing as long as it's knocking, we'll solve the problem
When it's crack it'll rock at the bottom, then you got 'em

nah man, i've been bumping this album all day after last night and it gets EVEN BETTER with each listen! NYSOM 3 grew on me and i'm actually digging the beat more, mostly cuz i've been bumping it in the whip. The nas and AZ joint sound even better in the whip as well. I gave it 4 mics last night, might have to bump this to 4.5 . This album is very cohesive and Nas's concepts is just top notch on here. The best thing about this is that he might just go ahead and run it back with Preme, give us a run like he did with Hit Boy. You can clearly hear the difference in the production style, like on Hit boy's beats they sound like they wanna go off, but the mixing is temu, i dont know how to explain it but the mixing on hitboy's production just sound like them beats are cheaply made when they are an experienced engineer away from getting it to sound right. Preemo on the other hand just knows his sound so well, the beats have a life of their own. I love this album and yall mfs are trippin if yall say Alfredo 2 is better than this. Most of alchemist's production be some boring sh*t with no bounce, that's what i got out of that 2chainz and larry june joint. All that monotone rapping gets tedious real quick.

Man Nas is in God Mode all over this album, some of the joints that didn't hit me initially have grown on me as well.

This is a solid 4 mic album at the moment, not sure if I have it above Mobb or De La but I feel like it could grow on me a lot more.

Also, fukk I'd love an AZ/Nas album one day, those two are straight magic everytime.

Just designing this rhyme is a fight against time
Every minute they wait to hear of true titan's of crime
There's two types of villains that live in my mind
I'll define it as one killing with rhyme, the other dealin', supplyin'
Garments of all kind, no more designer to wear
Style more modest these years, honorable to compare
The Gods, Esco, Nasty Nas from Nasir
Since the sandbox came out of it
Pardon my ominous content, y'all should be scared
Birth certificate says Nasir
Origin not clear, but what a great name to bear
My name is not as common as Muhammad or as popular
Or as praiseworthy, so I adopted a moniker

Second track sounds like he ghostwrote the first half of the verse for Biggie

Then he goes back to regular Nas

Song concept is cringey and chorus is hard to listen to for crypto enthusiast and also for those not into crypto

Seems like old throwaway, chorus scratch support from DJ Premier helped the song production significantly

Halfway into third track, super good execution so far

DJ Premier doing his thing so far too

Halfway through 3rd track, just realize Empire State of Mind as a track title is kind of on the toes of NY State of Mind, good on Nas to make a trilogy of it

Cool that he billed it as collab album with producer when he could’ve put forth as a solo album

But the collaboration has been anticipated since 1994

Better than Dre and Snoop album so far

4th track

Definitely planning to do some live music performances and maybe a tour

Stylistically I feel like I can walk out of the room miss a large portion of an album come back to it and feel like I miss nothing. It’s almost like he’s consistently on a circle of saying the same things albeit with a large lexicon it’s like his style is lends to being an exercise of his lexicon.

I guess some people are really into that, are y’all hooked on phonics kids?

If I say contrived spiritual theme word slop attempt at an anthem to pander to women you'd know what song I'm talking about or you didn't listen to the album :umad:
