downloaded it but haven't listened yet. When something I really fukk with comes out (in this case the goat), I like to wait and give it the proper time and respect.

I'm just glad that hiphop heads gonna shut the fukk for now and stop bytching about Nas not rapping on Premier beats enough.

The reception has been very strong for Nas. Not so much for prem. I said this before the album, to ask preme to do 15 tracks in 2025 was a really tall task

You also all took hit boy so insanely for granted he did some impossible shyt and yall blew it off. Forget 1 he did 6 lol.

I knew it was gonna get mixed but Im surprised at how much especially with the young fans. Theres one youtube reactor whos loves Nas recent projects who outright said he was dissapointed on the live (the one who went viral for the beat switch on Magic)

I guess my thing is, it feels people really havent followed what DJ Premier has been like past 20 years, Hes still good but not at his 90s peak and formularic in his beat making but it still comes out good.. I notice the younger fans, ones who are still into the underground boom bap stuff but more Alchemist/Condutctor etc and their gateway to Nas is NYSOM and Nas is LIke that are kind underwhelmed. And again, yall know how Preem gets down.

TYRONE GA!
Already half way in and as good as the Hit Boy run was (i advocated heavy for dude), this blows all of that out of the water:manny: Nas sounds like a totally different emcee on this. This is some straight up hiphop. Welcome back home breh :wow:
Sounds young and hungry

Love it

Sounded like Company Flow's Krazy Kings and the Artifacts material.

It's the best bombing tribute I've heard since "Got The Fever" by Meyhem Lauren (which I consider the 2nd best graf tribute behind "Wrong Side of The Tracks").

And while Krazy Kings is my favorite song off the Funcrusher Plus album, the the graf tribute by Bigg Juss on that album is "Lune TNS" (which was also his tag name he threw up), not Krazy Kings.

Being from New Jeruz, I was waiting for the posthumous Tame One shoutout (gonna have to relisten, don't know if he shouted out El Da Sensei too or not).

Can't wait to run this album back later today/night.
