Respectfully. Respectfully. Preem got carried on this album. He did not fully do what he was supposed to do with some of the production on the album.
.....Nas always carried his production tho, even on Illmatic. Even if I agree that Premier is usually the one that carries his albums

My humble 2 cents, Nas is my favorite rapper and inspiration. The fact that he's in his 50s and wealthy still rhyming like this is amazing. The fact that younger generations get exposed to him will only benefit them. Nas been got his flowers but he deserves more.

As far primo goes, I used to argue as a young bul that he was the best rap producer. But that was a long time ago. I honestly am not feeling these beats. I used to listen to primo songs for his beat and ignore the rapping. Here I was focusing on Nas and ignoring the beat

Im shocked at how musically obtuse people are...

I WANT MY PREMIER BEATS TO SOUND LIKE MY PREMIER BEATS

Nas told you dont put him in a BOX, but yall dont REALLY listen

Imma let this sshhiitt breathe Just
It's unrealistic to not expect some of these takes. Most people on here are of the age where various eras of Preemo's style is hugely tied into their lives, and many people prefer different eras of Preemo's sound based on when you were born, what part of Preemo's catalogue you grew up on, etc.

I totally understand someone being like "I prefer Moment of Truth Preemo over Hard to Earn Preemo."

That's human nature, bro. Some people like Nas is Like Preemo more than Illmatic Preemo, or vice versa, and that's fine too.

This album been hyped for over 20 years and was Detox status at one point. Expecting some people to have no expectations or feeling of being let down is also unrealistc.

2 questions.

1. How old are you?

2. Do you know you can avoid the thread?
I never seen so many grown dikksuckers in my life. I listened to a album. Commented on the album i listened to and yall focused on me. Talk about what you like. My opinion mean nothing to you

Gotta say that I feel this is the same response any post 2002 Nas and Primo album would've got, no matter if they would have worked on it in 2003 or 2025
I agree with this. In 2002 people were roasting Preemo after The Ownerz and saying it was wack. Never let people forget this. People didn't start appreciating The Ownerz for a good 5+ years after that.
