My nikka need to go find Hit-Boy as soon as possible. :martin:
instead of an all-primo album, he should have had primo, large pro, LES, pete rock, and q tip each give him a couple beats

imagine how cool that would have been. i'm not trying to be negative about this album, because it's not BAD, but it's just not great :dead:

I 3D printed the studio, D&D reinvented
Me and you know who, Preem, and yeah y'all, it's been a minute
Come up the fourth floor through the door, Preemo renamed it
Now it's HeadQcourterz under a new location
We aliens like a deity trust
Men that have standards, I'm the G-O-D, uh
Bruh, I'm suppose to kick this habit
Done with it, havin' fun with it
Hard to let it go, how could you whеn you in love with it?
Once upon a time, I couldn't start my day without it
I playеd it every morning loud while I'm ironing my outfit
In my car, zonin' out, straight hot-boxin'
I need that real dope, I cannot fukk with some box sent
Medications, they just don't work, my body jerks
R&B playin', concert is how I got through the hurt
808 addictions, sound of a DJ mixin'
Had to stay away from my young boy, 'cause all he listens to
That gritty, that raw, intense, hardcore
But makes me want to put them on to so much harder songs
I consult the physician, prescribe me a pill
How do I cope? I could die on this hill
Finally have a breach in lyrics, a treatment center
Counselor said I should be speakin' better
Hi, I'm a rap-aholic, only been sober since my last installment
Need music with substance, so it's abuse they call it
I'm still sick, hello everybody, now I sit
We all in this circle together, ain't that a bytch?
I brought my brother here with me, his name is Chris
He got a habit just like me, he cannot kick
So again, be smart, 'cause this is fun for me
No matter how nice you are, don't come for me
I'm still a junkie, hip-hop junkie
I need it in my arteries, it keeps callin' me

'88 Rucker park, trucks and cars, hustlers, they were stuntin' hard
Thousand people copped hot as summer yard
Fresh out the subway cars, young Esco, no bum dress flow
Shopped at 2-5 to Nike dunked the God
Stoppin' was a little conscious monster, educated ignorance
Lyin' head ring on the index flex, let's get into it
Brought books, caught jooks, and stuck between livin' clean, and overcoming lawlessness
Tryin' to balance, the constitution writers knew the troupe some are liars
A jambalaya combined with crimin' and law-abidin'
Something they saw inside N-A-S and then Sony signed him
I'm just a humble giant
Stumble but fall forward, never backwards
What is your dream?
I'm my great great great grandfather's dream, one thing
When you make yourself too accessible
Some could lose respect if they blessed with you
The music electrocutes, it's 'cause I'm a junkie

Pen still :wow: :banderas:

I'll keep saying it

This is the last time we ever saw prime Primo

Breh, these joints are from the last couple of years.

That also includes the joints off of Del la Soul's album. Premmo still got the juice. Not prime level but these could of came out during his prime and no one would bat an eye.

90% of those Hit-Boy songs are NyQuil to me. I think this is better than all 6 albums easily. It's subjective. You honestly think NAS of all people, one of the pickiest MCs ever, just took WHATEVER Premier threw him? They said they came up with the stuff together.
I might put KD2 alongside this album or even above it, but otherwise yeah this is better than most of the Hit Boy run - and I still love those albums, even Magic 2

Imma just say this, I love this album. Reason why I didn't want them to do a full album is what's happening now. It was always gonna be Preme dated and/or this should have been done 30 years ago. Granted I wasn't feeling Preme over the last years, but that had more to do with who he was working with. I'm not in to rappers like Royce, Ransom or Roc Marci.. can they rap? Fuhk yeah..just not interested. Preme came through for me. Yall can feel how yall feel, but I aint discussing this album on here wit yall. Yall begged for years for it. Ungrateful ass nyggas.

I too love the album.

Now I'm seeing some hate on it.

The whole album flows well front to back.

fukk faceless critics. They're nobodies and run a real risk of being nameless their whole lives 😨

I learned a great can drop a great album at 52 years old and haters still creep out the holes they're in.

Reality.

But people don’t understand, that Nas wanted a certain kind of sound-bed for this project. If he wanted the same kinda joints that Preem was giving everybody else recently, Preem could've cooked those up in no time. Like you said, he still has a lot of hot beats. Nas literally shaped these beats with Primo. And he was able to build a mad dope project with him, and execute perfectly on the ideas he had for it.

Thing is, casuals and fake "fans" don’t really get how these albums are made, or understand what Nas was going for. They just have a weird thing with what THEY want from dude. But they're clearly not who he makes music for. LOL!! It ain't for them.

aight man there isn't a song on here better than the truth or Speechless from Magic but y'all cook :manny: . Music is subjective Nas did his part for the most part Preem on the other hand not good enough. Of course Nas plays a huge role all I'm asking is Preemo to step his shyt up. No reason Big fukking Shug get's classic Preem shyt but Nas can't?
