I said this. Even some reviewers who didn’t like it at first are now saying they like it.

most of these initial haters/complainers were in their feelings because they were looking for a bunch of Nas is Like type bangers, as if those were the only type of beats that Primo does:unimpressed:but now, after sitting with the album for over a week, they realize that the beats are fine:gladbron::banderas:

If he does something with AZ then Pete Rock needs to be on production.

Get some The World is Yours and Rather Unique level beats and they can't miss.

I still want Nas and Pete on a full album.
I want the grandiose smooth Justice League type of sound if they do it.

And most of the internet didn’t go along with the initial videos so they changed their mind to not lose followers and get more clicks. People will do anything for views today.

I will die on this hill (nostalgia has alot to do with it), but Jarreau of Rap is one of my favorite songs the past 10 yrs or so. It's become a summer staple for me with alot of great memories attached. I'm in the minority, but LT2 is overall my fav Nas project in this recent run.
.lost tapes 2 is super underrated that shyt was fire i jarreau of rap even grew on me

Nas really is the GOAT MC. We've reached a point where his catalog is now split into two segments. I remember when a new Nas album dropped and we would be ranking them among his first six, seven albums. Now, we are ranking them among his last six albums. It's like he has two different careers in rap.

It’s at least an aspect of good songwriting. Ask any songwriter what the hardest thing to do is and almost every one will agree that it’s to craft a hit. These are commercially released albums not SoundCloud uploads.
Let’s not pretend Nas is Prince here either releasing album after album of wildly experimental songs that don’t even have a potential radio song. He has collabs with an extremely long list of commercially viable singers, rappers and producers where he is clearly trying to make a hit.

Nas has hits though and he probably has the least attempts out of anybody that sold millions of records you can damn near count on hand in his mainstream peak how many attempts he has
