Yeah, AZ would be great for tradition and a singer or two so it's not all scratched choruses. That would be all that's needed.

I don't care for features when they just drop a random 16. They work when the artists are on the same page and their verses are connected to a concept. The De La album is a great example for how to use features.

All I want is Premier to be close to his A game and Nas to have a good amount of storytelling and concepts songs.

I think if people really sat back and thought about it, they would realize most of Nas‘ best songs have no rapper features at all.

I’m listening to Lost Tapes right now as I type this. One of my favorite projects. No features.

I’m not an anti features type of person, but I am when it comes to Nas. They don’t really benefit him, unless its someone like AZ that really complements his style.

I really hope Primo comes correct with the beats on this one, because he's been hit or miss lately tbh. His beats on the De La album were fire and he sort of redeemed himself. But his stuff with Roc Marciano and Ransom was a little disappointing. I also wasn't a huge fan of Break Beats or Define my Name either. Very generic and the drums weren't hitting as hard as his old Gang Starr stuff.

I need to hear some shyt like Nas is Like, 2nd Childhood, Memory Lane, Come Get Me, and I Gave You Power.
I really think its because Preme was matching their styles which is slower. His work with De La is a perfect example. They fit De La's sound.

yeah ill take joe and jada

but it comes down to what you want...like if you want an actual interesting convo about not the same rehshed topics 100 times thats really only the JBP and thats honest truth...Joe actully asks meaningful questions stuff outta the box. everywhere else is same bag

I can’t stand none of their characters. They all try too hard depending on their mood. Joe budden is the least and that’s saying a lot but none of it is genuine to me the type of convos he has unless he has a relationship with the artist. I can see ish trying too hard being a jay eater with the ice grill Saying some slick shyt. Flip would show love and be on his queens shyt. But to me, shyt would be a garbage interview. i know all previous artists in this nas run have all been on joe and jada and were all good moments. so I expect nas to show up as well and playing a track for them. If Jada is a feature…. :banderas:

I dont disagree with you but it just comes down to content, like no where else is gonna ask nas any interesting questions. which is another reason he wouldnt go there

CRAZY to me that after all these years people dont understand hes just not the INTERVIEW type, Joe Buddens podcast energy aint for Nasir

Him, Jay, Rakim, Dr. Dre dont have that type of personality, they will not give you an entertaining q&a 90% of the times...
