CRAZY to me that after all these years people dont understand hes just not the INTERVIEW type, Joe Buddens podcast energy aint for Nasir

Him, Jay, Rakim, Dr. Dre dont have that type of personality, they will not give you an entertaining q&a 90% of the times...

I hate when people not down with being interviews chatty patty gossip podcasts/radio shows is somehow because "they lack personality"

Nah, some people just don't want to be interviewed on a show where 20% is actually about Hip Hop and their album, and 80% of the show is about Twitter and Instagram gossip and fake laughter. Go figure lol

Nas and Royce are to Primo what De Niro and Di Caprio are to Scorsese, so it wouldn't surprise me if he's there

Thats wayyyyyyy too high praise for Royce. Royce on his best day is definitely a nice MC but DiCaprio levels? F U C K NO! And it doesn’t make logical sense because Guru would be Premo’s De Niro and Nas would be DiCaprio.

I didn't count guru because they are in a group.

The dynamics are different. When we talk about mc's outside of gangstarr Nas and Royce got the best chemistry with preem regardless of what you may think of royce.

And it's just a fun analogy nothing to take that serious

I never liked Royce outside of Boom and a couple other tracks. I could never really articulate it until Lupe did but the tough guy shyt just doesn't work, and all the bravado falls apart when you sit back and realize how few seminal songs/albums/etc he has. Dude was def a master at getting beats that should have gone to Nas though lol. Especially the Hip Hop beat...that would have been some classic eerie Nas.
