This is an uncut boom bap album in 2025, they both showed up imo! It’s not overly produced, the drums are hard and preemo gave more than enough breathing room for nas rhymes.

Nysom3, nasty esco nasir, madman, pause tapes, my story your story are my favs so far. Writers is amazing, reminds me of Lune Tns. The 18 year old version of myself is at peace listening to this, they did a good job.

I’m glad Nas is gonna place his passion for other ventures over hip hop because the art form is no longer appreciated or valued. I’m happy he made this year all about the culture, legacy and art but when you love the art form more than the people you do it for, I would say it’s time to focus on other ventures you’re passionate about and let hip hop rest.

These aren’t good Premo beats. “Sunny Storms” on De La’s album is better than anything on here, and it’s what gave me hope when everyone was doubting Premier.

There was a point in time where I didn’t think Premier was capable of making a wack beat. This album has some CLUNKERS. NYSOM3 is an absolute travesty. The intro track sounds like something I would cook up and scrap after revisiting it a week later. Just random ass piano chords with no additional layers or samples. Idk.

This is giving me Missionary vibes all over again :mjcry:

Nas is still sharp lyrically, but sounds like he’s forcing it over these beats, and he’s not completely off the hook because he picked them at the end of the day.

Some good concepts here, some decent beats. Overall, it feels like 5.5/10 for me but hopefully it grows on me. 16-year old me is absolutely devastated.

TYRONE GA!
This man made a whole damn song shouting out graffiti writers. Love that and Bouquet with the tributes/shout outs, on some Where Are They Now shyt.
The man is hip hop and truly loves it

Others don't love it like that even though they're great at it

I just ran through it 1 time..

I need more.. Nas did like 4 joints with Hitboy its only right that he do the same with Preemo

Right now I feel like I sat down for a Ribeye with rice and beans and plantains with garlic spinach at Ricardos Steak House in Harlem and I had to leave before I finished my dinner

My belly is not full

When I think about it I think about how Guru is gone. Guru is gone man. Its only right that Nas fills that void with Preme. Its only right.

Preme needs reps!

He needs more reps to sharpen his blade

Iron sharpens Iron

I need 4 more Nas and Preme collaborations
