Just cause they refused to admit they was wrong for ignoring Nas shyt with other producers cause they wanna dikkride the Illmatic producers. I called them out on that shyt. I went back and skimmed through the hit boy albums and they all had one or two standout tracks and a bunch of filler. Not that the beats were bad but they didn’t suit Nas vocals. The premier album is disappointing but as a body of work it’s better than all the hit boy joints.

He didn’t at all. nikkas just mad cause they was wrong. See. Nas doing shyt for that MINORITY fan base ends up fukking him in the long run. These people can’t even be real Premo fans like that cause if they heard his output the last 15 years they would know he’s inconsistent. Son is good for like 2-3 beats on an album right now not a whole joint.

Funny thing is the old heads that's been demanding this album forever are some of the loudest complainers. A lot of the beats on here in line with the style Premier used for a lot of Step In The Arena, Daily Operation and Hard To Earn beats, but now it's "oh, we ain't mean that type of boom bap."
