Nas and Preme tell you what it is from they own mouth and nikkas still mad. Goofy ass weirdos no one respects ya opinion

Facts.

We got outsiders sitting on couches at home who feel they know how to make a Nas and Premier album better than Nas and Premier. This is how comfortable the weirdos are now. Not even from the culture. But they’re gonna tell you how sh*t should be done in the culture.

And then he proceeded to make more songs about Hailie later on. :mjlol:

I'm glad Eminem turned it down because I can't imagine him on a song like that, especially 2012 Eminem. :hhh:
It's a difference when asked to be a feature on someone like a Nas project where you want to be your best lyrically, at that point in time Em had said everything he possibly could. Since then/now during the continued course of her life into adulthood I'm sure more material manifested.

This. But at the end of the day, regardless of what comes out of any of their mouths, this is still thr music BUSINESS. They may not care about sales, but I'm sure they expected to be compensated for their work. For decades I've been arguing and wondering why somebody like Jay-Z or Nas, or any of these older legends that grew up loving this shyt didn't just grab Premier, Pete, etc and throw us a bone of an EP just doing the shyt we love and the shyt that got them famous in the first place. This album is the reality of that dream, but it also shows the reality about artwork meshing with corporate interests.

Nas ain't about to drop millions of dollars paying for an album overloaded with samples. As you get older and view the world through a different lens, you understand the rich play by and think under different rules than us. So while I love the album and am thankful for it, I also am resigned to the fact that my "dream album" is a dream for a reason. It doesn't and could unfortunately never exist.

Thing is, Nas's last 7 albums haven't been crazy with traditional samples.

The 6 before this one were loaded with sh*t from sample packs. This joint actually had more sh*t to clear than anything he's done since 2012. The HB and Premier albums aren't costing Nas any money. Preem listed himself as an artist on this too. It's a joint album, so he's not charging Nas for this, like that. But this is still an indie project.

But people should just enjoy the music and stop trying to think like music executives. This dude had Premier, Pete Rock, Large Professor, and Q-Tip, and we didn't see any fans back in '94 talking about Illmatic's budget, lol. Way too many people worried about "I wonder what he's spending on promotion. There's been no single". Fans gotta learn to just enjoy music again, and leave the business side of the process to the people who are actually in the business.

You just prove my point. The slander you said about wale Is what I’m talking about

and if Wale irrelevant what is Nas?

you post a tweet of Wale selling 22k

but Nas last album sold like 16k

so that’s a weird flex lol

nikka you said there are 20 rappers whose MUSIC is under more scrunity than Nas. I said name em... you named 10 rappers (not 20) and Ice Cube, Da Baby, and Wale was among them lmao.

Where are all the Think Pieces breaking down Wale's lyrics? Where is the great hip hop civil war debating what producers Wale is working with?

I specifically said the Kings disease series when mentioning sales.

The nikka won a grammy

(i dont even like talking about sales and grammy's. Im doing this on purpose to find what metric you're attempting to use)

Wale's music is not under scrunity, bc most people didnt even know he dropped.

Wale- Everything Is A Lot (New Album) 11/14 <--- there is Wale's thread.

I dont even know if you like that album or not because you dont got 1 post in that bytch :laff: :laff: :laff:

so no, you're making my point. You (like the majority of rap fans) would rather be in here talking about Nas than talking about Wale :mjlol:

Dudes got 7 albums from their favorite artist but is worried about promotions. That mean those fans wish he sold records still instead their favorite artists has dropped 7 albums in less than 5 years lol

I’m pretty sure Wale would prefer people kept criticism only about music lol

da baby is in 2025 gets 10000% more criticism than Nas about music

Nas is in corner by himself. Most of the shyt is because of his own fanbase.

those other rappers are attack by millions of people everyday. Nas don’t have to deal with that. Y’all Stan’s should be happy about that.

i'm starting to think that "It's time" is on par with all the Preemo and Nas Classics, this is basically the 2025 "Nas is like", go argue with a wall, this joint right here with a good music video and a good push will get played everywhere :blessed:
shyt like this is just wild to me 😂

Nas fanbase is nuts
