You'll never get another Pac though, was one of a kind, Nas is a brilliant writer and artist too though. So unfair almost to compare most people to Pac, but Nas is still here so he has more time to make more grat music.

You almost can't be a fan of one without the other in my opinion. Pac was an incredible artist and really was masterful at discussing the dualities and contradictions of the genre without swaying to far to one end or the other. Nas has done the same albeit less successfully but still I think his body of work is at this point equal to Pacs from a musical standpoint (not so much in terms of impact as Nas waves are reverberate more subtly).

Nas (and Biggie) are my favorite rappers but 2pac and Jay-Z are by far the GOATS in my eyes

As far as 2pac, you're never going to get another rapper who personified what it meant to be a human being on record.....in all it's many elements and contradictions. He may have not had the most intricate way of saying things but he knew how to reach the depths of your soul and touch every feeling you could possibly have better than anyone. Seeing stuff like this Ferguson shooting makes me miss him more. Pac knew how to be conscious and still connect with people......Just an overall brilliant writer.

Why has Nas not been able to get away with being contradicting, but Pac can? Thats always baffled me.

Been bumpin Pac since jump. Copped every album, even the bootleg Makaveli joints. I go back n forth between him and Nas as #1.

With all this extra stressing

The question I wonder is after death, after my last breath

When will I finally get to rest through this suppression?

They punish the people that's asking questions

And those that possess, steal from the ones without possessions

The message I stress: to make it stop study your lessons

Don't settle for less - even the genius asks his questions

Be grateful for blessings

Don't ever change, keep your essence

The power is in the people and politics we address

Always do your best, don't let the pressure make you panic

And when you get stranded

And things don't go the way you planned it

Dreaming of riches, in a position of making a difference

Politicians and hypocrites, they don't wanna listen

If I'm insane, it's the fame made a brother change

It wasn't nothing like the game

It's just me against the world

:wow:

Nas is the goat to me, Pac was great too didn't like a lot of the things he did and his personality but Me Against The World is in my top 10 and you can't really diss them last three albums before he died.

It would have been extremely interesting to see what hip hop would have been had Biggie and Pac not died. Biggie actually had a triple album on the way.

Also, another thing is that he has the worst stans in hip hip these people are ignorant, close minded and completely deluded.
