You don't have to employ people to be a business man

Nas Def Employs people though

He runs Queens bridge Venture partners with his fellow founders.
Also Co-founded and Co-runs Mass Appeal records
Also Co-runs Sweetchick Resturant with 5 locations between NYC and LA

Nas doesn't brag or brand himself as a mogul tho which is why most people sleep on his business acumen.

Don't forget the money nas made when amazon bought ring.

Why would you assume Nas invested $500,000?

He very well could have, but that number seems to be pulled out of nowhere.

I just want to congratulate Nas and A Saleh ahead of time on the forthcoming Coinbase direct listing. Let's get this bread in 2021 fellas. Next level this year.

I follow this dude for stock market info, saw he mentioned the GOAT

The 500K is what they invest if they really believe in a project. It was posted in an interview somewhere. If I find it I'll post it.

He has had way more exits than that. But op was specifically mentioning businesses Nas owned that employed people.

“Let’s assume Nas invested $500K”

Based off what?

Nas Is Like... Half Man, Half Venture Capitalist

QueensBridge is pitched by more than 100 companies per month, and invests in only a small fraction of them. Anthony Saleh, Jones' manager and partner at QueensBridge, told CNBC in a recent interview that the firm invests from $100,000 to $500,000 in a company, and has done more than 100 deals in the last six years.

Plus these big startups are not splitting the pie with folks for a little 30K investment unless you're friends or family. They can can get that from the bank or side hustle....

Banks don't really invest in startups like that since most startups tend to hemorrhage money for several years before turning a profit.

I'm not sure what type of side hustle coinbase could've done to fund all of thier software engineers and AWS services. Whatever it was probably would've been thier main business.
