aside from a couple songs... Imma have to disagree with you breh.. the beats & choruses were at an all time low for Nas.. especially since it was after Stillmatic & God's Son

I can understand if you didn't like the production but overall, there was only like 1-2 wack joints lyrically and production-wise.

the black cat is my crown...
the grammys are for the fans.they build anticipation with commercials, tellin you who's in the building,a huge crazy stage with over the top performances and these little trophies they give to the winning artist(in which they have to pay for if they want to keep them)it's all entertainment.but i guess if you're nominated you wanna win right?some artist do some don't give a fuk.some of the greatest artist ever have no grammys some only have 1 or 2 and some like i said dont give a fuk.james brown only has 3,atcq has none, rick james none, led zeppelin none and the list goes on. so jay z with or without 17 grammys is still an artist who's impacted the game just like any other artist with 1 or no grammys.nas=huge impact wutang=huge impact, fat joe like it or not has had an impact 3-6 mafia=huge impact, geto boys =huge impact and the list goes on.but back to my original point grammys are for the fans.so you and your boys can argue who's better because this person has this many grammys or that many grammys.while the artist sit back and count there money.

keep on being a fan,peace!

:usure: fukk you talking about? HHID was great.

:shaq2: That record had about 4-5 great songs. The rest were all middle of the road or weak, IMO. One of his most disappointing in terms of replay value, especially considering the personnel he had as far as production and guests.

Agreed that Nas has had a huge impact on the game, just as all the other artists you've mentioned. What I don't get is how one can act as if grammys have no correlation to an artist's repertoire. Only in the case of Jay-Z vs. Nas is grammy award winning downplayed :win:

we don't believe you, you need more people

they didnt believe me when I said Jay E wrote for Nas either, but then the truth came to light :blessed:

I'm sure there will be some classic verses on Jiggers next album written by the true GOAT, in between some garbage songs featuring Lana Del Rey and Adele :laff:
