NaS has over 200 Unreleased and or B-side songs that many people haven't even heard. I play dudes NaS songs all the time they've never heard. NaS could drop 5 new Double Album Lost Tapes and still have many tracks left over. When you've sold over 20 Million and have 9 Platinum albums you can take as long as you want. Plus "Life is Good" was slept on anyway and was most doubt a "Grown Man" Hip Hop album that mostly only adults going thorough adult problems could relate to most of the themes but the album was fire. I like that NaS and Jay for that matter are taking breaks and gaps and not doing this mircowave pump something out every year even though it isn't good. Not mention his business ventures are doing great. Wasn't that the knock on NaS? "He's not a good businessman". But now that he is it's , "He's not releasing music", lol.

I see a lot of people saying he needs to drop an album especially last year, but we've seen be more busy with Mass Appeal and the venture capital stuff.

I personally think he's stalling releasing an album cause it will be his last on a major and just wants to see where it goes, but I would say people definitely care especially the younger Kendrick and Cole fans who know about him

Nas selling 20 mill is one of the greatest feats in hip hop. The type of rap he do is hard to sell. Truth be told that 20 mill more impressive than Eminem's 100 mill.

I'm more impressed he had 9 Platinum albums including 3 Muti-Platinum albums. NaS may have not had a lot of huge hit singles on the charts but his albums all do very well. "Untitled" went Gold (Almost Platinum now) sadly "Life is Good" is the lowest selling solo of his career.
