This was brought up in another thread...but this ghostbusters is based on a show that predates the ghostbusters movie we're all familar with.
Both cartoons dropped at the same time though..I guess the first ghostbusters took the success of the second ghostbusters as an opportunity to reboot their shyt via animation.
