That irritated the hell out of me and almost gave me a headache. I don't know if it's a modern thing, but it feels like with music videos now, people just want to get their shyt in. You have these interesting visuals and then they're on screen for two seconds. Cut to something else, then something else. Then the camera spinning around multiple times feels like someone just wanted to do a trick and couldn't figure out any other way to make it look good.
Let the moment breathe for a couple more seconds.
All I think of when I listening to this song and No Tears is the 1994 movie Fresh. I had just recently watched it for the second time (first time, I was younger and didn't really pay attention) and I can't help to notice somewhat references throughout the album. "Old dudes playing chess in the park, old dudes playing chess in prison" referring to how Fresh's father was stuck behind the game as his only means of seeing his son. No Tears being a reference to Fresh's lack of emotion throughout the film. I might be reaching but eh, just wanted to say that. Anyhow, dope song and video.
