Nas is the most overrated artist ever regardless of genre

His stans here, who clearly like him not for his music, but because they are gays (I mean how do you call men who post in their free time about how another man look cute despite his age?), create an illusion that Nas is relevant.

If not for these gays, he would not be mentioned here at all, because in reality nobody listens to his boring ass music. He doesn't even have a classic album.

Illmatic is that album which used to be classic but turned into a complete dated shyt. Its impossible to listen to it without falling asleep.

It's a wannabe conscious rap album with wack ass lines. "Hit the earth like a comet" "I'm like scarface sniffing cocaine" "Sparkle like a diamond"

All other albums are not even worth mentioning. They are straight up trash, besides a couple of tracks. His music is bland and boring, lacking any entertainment value.

Stop comparing him to Jay-Z or other Top 3 rappers please.

I can't agree. I'm not a Nas stan but Stillmatic is a certified classic to me. Almost every song on that shyt was dope, from his lyrics, to the subject matter to the beats. I will say he's a bit overrated on the coli but he is a hip hop great. I mean we talkin about the man who made If I Ruled The World, Hate Me Now & Ether here

Nas was ALWAYS in the king of new york talks, always, so just off the strength he was always mentioned as ONE of the greats...but even as a stan i admit, i think the internet is responsible for him actually being considered the GOAT. i only say that because i remember before the net, or before it was so popular, when i was going out of town down south and all that, them nikkas aint give a fukk about no Nas, ha, he was just a GOAT contender in New York/the Tri State. there's madd 90's cats who deserve the praise but the net definitely overrates them a bit.. not them as artists necessarily, but them as these grandiose figures. on the internet you'd think nas and wu tang are just as popular to this generation as Jay-z and Kanye and shyt, lol
