Terriblle but P4K have never fukked with Nas' music outside one or two releases. So this isn't a surprise.
People are gonna get mad as fukk at this review but why would you?
They used to rate his albums decent apart from Untitled.
Its like after the Kelis thing though the last 4 releases they are going out of their way to shyt on him. This is kind of the most ridiculous one yet. LIke the reviewer has an issue with Nas saying only Island his people seen his Rikers and Staten and he goes into a nerd spiel about how thats not true.
They've kinda gone back to embracing they are a site that people mock for their pretentiousness and awfulness

I really wish there was a Source esq reviewer these days to lead the critique and review of albums in hip hop
I don’t want to give a Jay Z comparison really as not trying to do a Nas vs Jay angle but this and 4:44 in the same grown man hip hop space. That got 8.4 so seems ridiculous to give KD2 6.2. Jay did the same mixture of boastful raps plus dropping gems plus reflections on his life over great production.

I really dont understand why people care about these people reviewing albums, specially hip hop ones. The Source was the only magazine that held any type of value in Hip Hop and even then just listen and enjoy what you enjoy.

It really shouldn't. They know fukk all about hip hop for 1 and 2. A lot of these labels and execs pay for positive reviews or are in such high regard they have fear of reviewing badly. You think Nas and Mass appeal are trying to kiss ass with a Pitchfork for something positive?
The album does not sound any worse after reading a review.

Just had a look through the albums they gave a 8+ to and very little are hip hop but they gave Eve's 'Scorpion' album an 8.3
