I don’t care about records sales, but if his previous two releases are any indication, I wouldn’t expect more than 50-75K. Which is great considering he been in the game almost 30

Lost Tapes is a compilation that debuted at the EXACT same position as its predecessor.

Nasir lost almost 24 hours worth of sales/streams and had no single or videos until 6 months after the album dropped.

This album’s hype, plus a proper single, plus good word of mouth can easily get Nas to 100k. Mass Appeal may be a boutique label but its NOT indie, its distributed through Sony

I don’t think an artist needs media Interviews anymore to promote their albums. Their social media is all that’s needed. I would like Nas to go live with his fans instead of the hip hop media writing about his album. Nas speaking directly to his fans on his platform would be dope. Now that’s something he never does. Why seek something from the hip hop media that has rarely shown Nas favor? Y’all should be asking him directly fo speak with his fans.

I’d love to see that. My only thing is sometimes “fans” can be just as crazy as these media outlets. I don’t want to hear “Fans” asking stupid ass questions about Jay-Z beef or Kelis. If he did something like Breakfast Club they could have a nice curated question list where he could get into the meat of how he made the album and its conception.

Foxy tagged Dr. Dre

Either Dr. Dre produced that Firm track or The Firm got an album coming on Aftermath The Firm Original Home:banderas:
Full Circle :damn:

Its funny Nas said he had a project coming that he couldn’t talk about...

At the time I was thinking the DJ Premier produced album, but after the footage of him and Dre I was thinking it HAD to be a Dr Dre produced Nas album...

In 2006 right after Hip Hop Is Dead dropped Nas said that one of his plans was to do a DJ Premier produced album and a Dre produced album and drop them on the same day.

So I was thinking maybe he replaced Premo with Hit Boy and he was going to do a “Summer” album (Hit Boy) and a “Winter” album (Dre)

BUT

What if the second album is a FIRM ALBUM:ohhh: And Nas is getting to actually re-produce the plan that fell through twenty years ago.

Firm introductory track on a Nas album (it was written/King’s Disease) and then a full OG Firm album produced by Dre:gladbron:

The Firm and Dre going make up for The Firm Fiasco, to many labels and the egos of those labels because of their artists messed up the First Album and we about to get that classic album:noah:

you need hits, viral songs, or a major platform/fan base to do 100k first week. That’s not happening. If I’m wrong I’ll take the L but I’m rarely wrong about album sales lol.

I’ll go with 40-60k range.
