It's Kinda funny how nikkas hated Nas Escobar and Nas killed his Esco persona for y'all, but lately Esco is making his return.

Nas is a businessman with ventures and Investment I knew it's only a matter of time that Nas Escobar will show up

He never really “killed” Escobar he still refers himself by that alias and on every album except Untitled there’s an esco type track or verse

Nas dont need no features except a few singers and like a random Jungle or Nashawn verse :pachaha:

seriously yall need to lay off the god :ahh:

For some reason i’d LOVE to hear a Jungle/Nas verse in 2020. Jungle was one of the GOAT straight up grimy rappers. Like you could tell Jungle gave NO fukks on wax.

Eh I don't think it's comparable. Griselda is signed to Roc Nation, the connection is already there. Hov is far more connected to the rap scene than any rapper in his age bracket. Signed a deal with Mach Hommy and even has been borrowing his flow recently. Chopped it up with Roc Marci. If there's a wave, Hov is going to be somewhere in the vicinity either trying to ride it or profit off it. That's who he is.

Nas and most other people in that age bracket aren't running around searching for new-ish rappers, new waves, etc. It is what it is. But the idea that a legend would do tracks with random underground burnouts is laughable to me. Nas working with Benny? Yea that makes sense, and has already happened. Graph? 38 Spesh? Come on brehs lmao, that's troll shyt.

Contrary to popular belief Nas DOES look and check for new up and coming artists and Underground talent. Its amazing to me all the shyt Nas has done that just goes overlooked or people pretend it didn’t happen.

Nas signed Fashawn to Mass Appeal. Fashawn is as underground and “rappity rap” as it gets.

Nas also has Astro, Cantrell, Ezri, and 070 Phi all signed to Mass Appeal. He signed Run The Jewels to Mass Appeal and they released RTJ3 on the label. He also had Bishop Nehru signed for a period. Nas did a song with Tyga when Tyga was a brand new artist on his first album. He let Tyler The Creator do an entire free flowing interview with him for a XXL cover. He put Dave East on. There’s sooooo much shyt Nas has done with and for the younger generation of rappers to keep his finger on the pulse.

"My pedigree above your ass, you'll never see I
I love the past, but see, where I'm goin' I get to fly
Never sold a record for the beat, it's my verses they purchase
Without production I'm worthless but I'm more than the surface
Want me to sound like every song on the Top 40
I'm not for you, you not for me, you bore me
I drop lines prestigious schools read to their students
Look at my album plaques, somebody agrees with the music
Was lovin' women, you'll never see
All you know's my kids' mothers, some celebrities
Damn, look at the jealousy!"~ Nasir Jones: Simple Things
