Might be my favorite Nas interview. He sounds hype as fukk, very confident. And I liked his description of the album. The first thing I thought of when I saw the title awhile ago was gout obviously, and excess. It almost feels like it ties into the last (full length) album title, Life Is Good. Like life got SO good that he had to step back and be careful again. That's a dope concept to me, especially these days. Lot of dudes out here seemingly healthy, but are borderline overweight or having other medical issues...then you get COVID and it's a wrap. This is like the most important time to make sure you last, especially as black people because of all the medical shyt we inherit.
Sounds like we're getting more shyt this year. Sounds like Nas will be on AZ's album, and hopefully if Mega drops something this year Nas will be on it. Apparently Mega and Havoc are doing something together.
