My thoughts after a whole listen:
I know ppl hate the jay comparisons but this shyt is very analogous to 4:44 except he's spitting lessons that come off as authentic whereas jay never could do that. You could tell Nas has/had some relationships since kelis and maybe disillusionment and loneliness. Maybe the freedom ain't all it cracked up to be and he's looking for a queen.
Man I just hope Nas continues with production like this for future projects. Fresh and soulful.
If u look at the hot 97 interview he did some before covid and some after. I would have loved it to touch a little.more on political shyt but best album since God's son EASY

Can't remember the last time I had an album I was like I can listen to this beginning to end. Streaming era got "albums" filled with bullshyt.
