I can put my hand up & say i was wrong about Hit Boy production...i expected something solid but it's much exceeded that..

Listen to Chauncey Hollis that he did early this year. It’s really dope.

Man - this year has been crazy for music.:mindblown:

I think this album might have knocked 'Don of Diamond Dreams' off my #1 spot.

I still think we're getting some greatness from out of leftfield before 2020's done too.

Black Thought, LOX and maybe Pusha x Madlib before 2021? :lupe:....:noah:
And with the way music is released these days we could get a lot of stuff dropping in short notice.

first listen and this album is fukking fire :wow: :wow:

love the production and gems dropped mixed with a modern sound. hit-boy laced him. didn't read through this thread but it wouldn't surprise me if there was a good portion of you out of touch nas stans who might be hating on this project. it will 100% be well received with the casuals (outside world) though. hopefully doja drops that nas track tho to get him some more attention and eyes on this album. :mjlit:

nas on that boss black wealth talk too :wow: :lawd:

easily his best project since life is good, this will def be in spin for the rest of 2020. solid 4 stars on the first listen.

:dead: @ fivio and nas on the same track. most odd combo ever but at least he attempted to rap this time unlike his usual flow.

In UK so been playing this since 6am (woke up early for this album) on and off so here's my review

King’s Disease- As always Nas brings it for the intro. Nas knows that an album release by him is a moment so he ensures he sets the tone and makes no one forget he’s still a monster on the mic. Got a Dear Summer vibe to it 4.5/5

Blue Benz- if you want that gully NY Nas this is the one. Perfect beat for Nas to do some Locomotive type bars. Just wish it was longer 4.5/5

Car #85- Smooth ASF. Charlie’s adlibs beautiful and love the concept. Perfect late night summer track 5/5

Ultra Black- song has got great replay value to me. fukks with the vibe. It’s not trying to be overly political, just a nice pro black song 4/5

27 Summers- beat is tough. When I first heard it wasn’t sure if works for Nas but he destroyed it. Shame it wasn’t longer. 4/5

Replace Me- Not a fan of Big Sean but his basic delivery kinda works on this. Don Toliver also great. 4/5

Til The War Is Won- great lyrics, subject matter on point. I’m not a Lil Durk fan but was confident Nas would put him to a use that would match him and the song 4/5

All Bad- Solid track. I like Anderson .Paak on it. 3.5/5

The Definition- Nas dropping jewels on this. Reminds me of Nas on LIG. 4/5

Full Circle- Surprised me with the subject matter but makes sense considering where they all are in their lives. Hit Boy did a nice smooth beat for it. Dre on the end nice touch. It’s probably a 4.5/5 to me but it’s Firm reunion so fukk it gets a 5/5. AZ flow like water.

10 Points- feel like Nas talking like an elder statesman on this. Beat is flames. 4.5/5

The Cure- soon as it started I knew this was going to be one of those legendary Nas tracks. Beat change is beautiful and song structure with disease and cure is genius 5/5

Spicy- first 10 secs, I was like wtf is this shyt. But then Nas rhymes and beat kicks in and it’s an auto head banger. ASAP Ferg solid and Fivio nice on it 4/5

True follow up to Life Is Good. There's a great cohesiveness to it that you get from having one producer. It all flows together perfectly. No song seems out of place (bar Spicy which makes sense to be bonus track) and the one criticism I’ve had of Nas despite being the GOAT to me, is he didn’t always create a coherent project and when he does like Life is Good it’s incredible. Hopefully even if the next album has multiple producers it has a good Executive Producer who can guide the album

I’d give it a 4/5 at a minimum but imagine with good replay value which I think it’lll have will give it a 4.5/5
